More parks and green spaces: Support Councils to build more parks and green spaces across Greater Manchester, ensuring every resident lives within a short walk of high-quality green space by the end of the decade.
A Green Space Guarantee to make sure developers contribute to biodiversity net gain so every development adds greenery and biodiversity.
Brownfield First: A new brownfield land fund and a devolved remediation fund to unlock the trickiest sites, helping us to always build on brownfield sites first.
100 miles of nature across the boroughs; including through the Cyan Lines Project the City Forest Park in Salford, Bury and Bolton.
A Greater Manchester Green Spaces Fund to help communities improve and create local green spaces.
Retrofit GM: We can lead the way with green skills and retrofitting properties, creating jobs and lovering bills.
More trees: Planting a tree for every resident by 2030, with 1 million by 2028, targeting the tree deserts that worsen health and dirty air.
